The project will support the social inclusion of people with disabilities in sports and thus contribute to reducing social inequalities as well as enhance accessibility to sports activities for people with disabilities. The project aims to establish a network of exercise programmes, coverage across all regions, and reduce mobility obstacles. The project will result in setting up an integrated ABC physical exercise for people with disabilities tailored to the various types of disabilities, including physical and sensory impairments and intellectual disabilities.

Project activities aim to reduce social inequalities and improve social inclusion of people with disabilities in sports which will ensure their equality in terms of inclusion in exercise programmes and thus have a positive impact on leading a healthy lifestyle and psychological and social status.

The Sports Federation for the Disabled of Slovenia, namely the Slovenian Paralympic Committee is eligible as the beneficiary to the available funding. The programme will be implemented by the Sports Federation for the Disabled of Slovenia – the Slovenian Paralympic Committee, and the Olympic Committee of Slovenia – Sport Societies Association.
