Chief Inspector discusses employment of Indian nationals in Slovenia with the Ambassador of India
On Thursday, 26 September, the Chief Inspector Katja Čoh-Kragolnik received the Ambassador of India, Her Excellency Namrata S. Kumar, at the headquarters of the Labour Inspectorate. Their discussion focused on the issue of employment of Indian nationals in Slovenia.
During the discussion, the two women stressed the importance of respecting workers' rights and identified key challenges for the future in the field of employment. They stressed the importance of constructive cooperation, open communication and strict compliance with Slovenian labour legislation.
They agreed that a quick and efficient response in providing information on the rights of foreign workers in Slovenia is crucial, and highlighted several opportunities for closer cooperation and strengthening relations between the two institutions.
