BIZI NOO call for proposals for border problem areas published

The Slovenian Regional Development Fund (SRDF) has published the BIZI NOO call for proposals on its website. The purpose of the call for proposals is to promote initial sustainable projects for the development and competitiveness of enterprises in border problem areas which will have a positive impact on competitiveness, productivity and technological equipment, employment, environmental protection and the promotion of resource efficiency.

Eligible investors are entities as defined in the Companies Act (legal person, unlimited company, limited partnership, limited liability company, public limited company, limited partnership with share capital, European limited partnership with share capital, natural person carrying out a self-employed activity on the market with a view to profit) and entities as defined in the Cooperatives Act and registered as a cooperative.

Project objectives

The project must meet at least one of the following objectives at the end of its implementation:

  • Increase the value added per employee relative to the value according to the financial statements as of 31 December 2023. The baseline value as of 31 December 2023 shall be compared with the balance sheet data as of 31 December of the year following project completion. 
  • At the same time, the applicant must implement measures and achieve results to improve resource efficiency or the impact of the investment and the product on material and energy efficiency. 

Amount of funding

  • Grant amount (minimum EUR 50 000 up to a maximum of EUR 160 000)

  • Amount of the repayable funds (minimum EUR 50 000 up to a maximum of EUR 500 000)

The Slovenian Regional Development Fund will also hold a webinar on Tuesday, 12 November 2024, to present the BIZI NOO call for proposals in detail.
