The participants were addressed via video link by the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the U.S., Iztok Mirošič, who emphasized the importance of scientific collaboration between Slovenia and the United States in space and space technology. He also pledged the Embassy’s support in deepening institutional connections.
On the sidelines of the ASEF events in San Francisco, embassy representatives held several meetings, including with officials from Austria, Denmark, Italy, South Korea, Ireland, and the head of the European Union Office in San Francisco, Gerard de Graaf, who also serves as the EU’s Senior Envoy for Digital Affairs.
The region, led by Silicon Valley, serves as a global hub for digital technologies and high-tech enterprises, offering exceptional opportunities for innovative Slovenian companies and startups. Strengthening Slovenia's role and activities in the area is essential for promoting and supporting these enterprises.
