ICG President and CEO Comfort Ero with State Secretary Melita Gabrič | Author MZEZ
Founded in 1995 in response to the horrific events in Rwanda and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the ICG places early warning and conflict prevention at the centre of its work. Its analyses are a reliable source of information that comes directly from the field, while also offering wider perspectives and suggestions to both the parties to the conflict and other actors in the international community.
During her visit to Slovenia, the President of the ICG met with her host, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Melita Gabrič, and other high-ranking representatives of the Ministry. They discussed the current challenges in multilateralism and the most pressing conflicts, also in the context of Slovenia’s role in the UN Security Council. ICG President and CEO Comfort Ero also gave a lecture at the Diplomatic Academy on the topic of international conflicts that we should pay attention to in 2025.
