Prime Minister receives the President of Portugal
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Robert Golob, hosted a working lunch for the President of the Portuguese Republic, Dr Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who is on an official visit to Slovenia.

Their discussion focused on how to strengthen relations between the two friendly and like-minded countries. They agreed that there is a great potential for enhancing relations, ranging from collaboration between universities to cooperation in the areas of energy, tourism, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Slovenia and Portugal are committed to fostering bilateral relations as two equal partners. They also touched upon relations with China.
