Results of the call for proposals to co-finance community infrastructure in Roma settlements and information of the second deadline

The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development informs municipalities that the funding available for 2025 under the first call for proposals for co-financing basic community infrastructure projects in Roma settlements in 2025 and 2026 has already been used, leaving 1,000,000 euros available for 2026.

In accordance with Chapter 13 of the call for proposals, which states that there will be a second call for proposals only if all the funds are not used under the first deadline, we would like to inform you that municipalities can submit their applications for the co-financing of projects in 2026 under the second deadline by 30 May 2025.

The call for proposals and the relevant documents are published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No 101/24 of 29 November 2024 and on the Ministry’s website.

The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development received nine applications for the first call for proposals. The Ministry approved seven applications and issued grant-award decisions to the municipalities of Puconci, Črnomelj, Murska Sobota, Kuzma, Lendava and two grant-award decisions to the municipality of Rogašovci. Not enough funds were left to cover the full planned co-financing of the project proposal submitted by the municipality of Beltinci. The application of the municipality of Ribnica was rejected, as the municipality of Ribnica had applied for a project above the co-financing ceiling.
