EU funding for digital transformation of the economy
The digital transformation of the economy and the public sector is essential for the country’s long-term development and competitiveness. The Ministry of the Economy provided support for the 23 digital transformation projects of 108 Slovenian businesses as part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP). 141st regular session of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia
At today's session, the Government adopted draft amendments to the Organisation and Financing of Education Act and the Fiscal Rule Act. It also extended the exemption of households from the CHP and RES contributions, and adjusted the contribution for consumers with significantly seasonal energy consumption.

Government proclaims 2026 year of the poet Srečko Kosovel
The Government has proclaimed 2026 the year of the poet Srečko Kosovel to mark the 100th anniversary of his death. The proclamation was proposed by the Sežana Municipality. The proposal was supported by the Slovenian Writers' Association, while the Ministry of Culture included it among the important national cultural projects.
