Freedom of work is one of the fundamental freedoms defined by the Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia. Citizens can freely choose employment and jobs must be accessible under the same conditions for all. Through sectoral legislation and the accompanying measures, we strive to achieve the maximum employment rate among citizens and to enforce their right to social security, which also includes the right to a retirement pension.
