The purpose of the project CA-EED II Concerted Action on the Energy Efficiency Directive is improved cooperation and the transfer of good practice between Member States in the implementation of national energy efficiency action plans, the transposition of Directive 2012/27/EU on energy efficiency into national legislation and the adoption of the proposal for a new energy efficiency directive presented by the European Commission at the end of 2016.
