CEF projects of European Economic Interest Groupings

The aim of European Economic Interest Groupings (EEIG) is to ensure the best and smoothest possible cross-border cooperation on projects that will improve the competitiveness of the European rail sector. Slovenian enterprises and organisations also participate in EEIGs.

European Railway Traffic Management System (ERTMS) aims at replacing the different national train control and command systems in Europe. The deployment of ERTMS will enable the creation of a seamless European railway system and increase European railway's competitiveness.

Manufacturers in the railway sector, infrastructure managers and railway companies, including the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Railway Transport and SŽ-Infrastruktura, d.o.o., participate in European economic interest groups.
