Support for the development of rail freight corridors
The EU aims to establish international rail corridors for a European rail network to ensure competitive freight transport allowing goods trains to run in good conditions and pass smoothly from one national network to another.
The purpose of supporting the development of Rail Freight Corridors (RFCs) is to assist in their establishment, development and expansion, in accordance with legal and market requirements, and to help provide a high level of service to users.
Technical assistance provides support to administrative, management and communication activities on RFC boards.
