Barbara Sušnik

Ambassador Barbara Sušnik, born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, studied Political Science – International relations at the Faculty for Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. 

Throughout her professional career, she has been passionately committed to human rights, equal opportunities, protection of national minorities and European affairs.

She has been strongly engaged in the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2021.
