Visa requirement

For Irish nationals

For a stay in Slovenia of up to 90 days there is no need for a visa.

Third country nationals

Third country nationals, legally residing in Ireland, can apply for a Schengen visa at the Austrian Embassy Dublin, which handles short-stay visa applications (visas C) for Slovenia in Ireland.

To submit a visa application, you must schedule an appointment with the VFS Global office in Dublin, which processes visa applications for Slovenia on behalf of the Austrian Embassy. Appointments can be booked through their online booking system.

The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia does not provide or assist in obtaining appointments.
