The Slovenian automotive industry is increasingly proving to be an important innovator for the green and digital transformation. In 2021, it created the GREMO Mission (GREen MObility), which is an example of businesses, researchers and the government joining forces to accelerate the transition of our automotive companies from manufacturing components and systems for internal combustion engines to developing and manufactring components, systems and technologies for the electric and electrified vehicles of the future.

This development project is already showing concrete results. In his address at the Innovation Conference, Prime Minister Robert Golob announced further support from the State and stressed the importance of innovation. "This is the only way to stand alongside global winners. The ideas and trends discussed by the participants are an inspiration to all," said Prime Minister Golob.

The Slovenian automotive industry established the GREMO Mission as a commitment to achieve the green and digital transformation by 2030. To date, the project has established itself as an important pillar of the innovation environment of industry.
