Slovenia Weekly: Spring Brings New Challenges and Opportunities

With the arrival of spring, nature awakens, days grow longer, and the dynamics of political events in Europe gain momentum. This week, the European Council held a meeting in Brussels, where leaders of member states discussed key issues that will shape the coming months. Among the central topics were strengthening competitiveness, energy prices, and enhancing Europe's resilience.

Slovenian diplomacy has been particularly active in recent days. The Minister of Foreign Affairs has just completed a tour of Asia, while, alongside the rest of the Slovenian political leadership, she is also working to strengthen relations with European countries. This week, Slovenia hosted the President of Portugal and the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs.

At a time when geopolitical challenges are increasing, cooperation is of paramount importance, as only together can we build a stable, secure, and well-informed society.
