About the Office for Healthcare Investments
The Office prepares systemic analyses of risk factors in healthcare investments and proposes strategic solutions for their management.
It participates in procedures for securing funds and prepares analyses, reports and other documentation for investments in public healthcare institutions established by the Republic of Slovenia.
The Office monitors and analyses the prices of medical devices and equipment. For this purpose, it establishes and manages an information system for price monitoring. The Office also sets standards for medical devices and equipment and ensures transparency of prices, terms and procurement strategies.
The Office proposes measures to the Minister responsible for health to improve pricing policy for medical devices and equipment and performs other tasks in accordance with the regulations.
