The Division for Public Finance and Economic System, prepares opinions on draft laws and government and ministerial regulations, including other materials of a legal nature, focusing on their legislative conformity and legal and technical correctness. The Division is also tasked with the drafting of laws and other regulations in the areas which do not fall within the competence of individual ministries or other government offices, subject to the Government’s special decision.

The Division is actively involved in various projects (e.g. the project of drafting a new systemic regulation on real estate taxation) and assists the Government and ministries in finding appropriate regulatory solutions and decisions. The Division monitors and examines legislative drafting issues concerning the building of the legal system and provides the Government, government offices and ministries with opinions and proposals thereon.
