Petra Aršič

Petra Aršič is an expert in strategic communication with many years of experience in public relations, political strategies and campaigns, media relations, and event organisation.

She started her professional career in 2006, working in communication and public relations within various projects.

She worked in the business sector until 2009. From 2009 to 2012, she was a political adviser to the Social Democrats. Her areas of work included the cooperation between the party and the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, daily media activities, and several political campaigns.

Between 2012 and 2022, she worked at the Office of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, between 2017 and 2022 as an adviser to the then President Borut Pahor. She participated in both of his successful presidential campaigns. Her main tasks included managing media relations, organising events, informing the public on the President's political events and maintaining the President's official social media.

President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella awarded her the Grand Officer Order of Merit of the Italian Republic for her contribution to the promotion and strengthening of relations between Italy and Slovenia.

Since 2022, she has participated in various election campaigns in Europe (French parliamentary election and elections in the Western Balkans). She managed the preparation of the awards competition for innovative and socially responsible projects and the summer camp of the American non-profit organisation Moonshoot Platfrom. As part of the public relations team of the Ski Association of Slovenia, she participated in the preparations for the 2023 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Planica and other projects of the association. She was also a public relations adviser to the renowned Slovenian chef Ana Roš and collaborated with many other people as an adviser on communication, public relations and project coordination.

She holds a university degree in economics. In 2016, she graduated in business management from the Doba College of Business in Maribor.
