Office of the Secretary-General of the Government
The Office of the Secretary-General of the Government performs expert and organisational tasks related to discharging the duties of the Secretary-General of the Government and coordinates the implementation of the Rules of Procedure of the Government.
It advises the Secretary-General in drafting and monitoring the work programme of the Government and monitors the implementation of the programme in the National Assembly.
It also monitors and coordinates the work of the Secretariat-General and provides expert assistance to government offices under the responsibility of the Secretary-General. It assists them in their areas of work and with regard to finance, equipment and supplies, procurement programme, the programme for the sale of tangible assets and office space issues.
The Office actively cooperates with various segments of the public, follows the media and performs tasks related to the implementation of the Public Information Access Act.
