Defence Preparations and Security Service
The Defence Preparations and Security Service directs, marks, classifies and archives documents of the highest level of classification.
It organises closed sessions of the Government and its working bodies and examines documents for government consideration and ensures their compliance with the Rules of Procedure of the Government.
It is responsible for the elaboration, amendment and keeping of the defence plan of the Government and the Secretariat-General. It also directs and coordinates the elaboration of defence plans of other government offices.
In cooperation with the Office of the Secretary-General of the Government, it prepares proposals for measures and acts adopted by the Secretary-General pursuant to regulations governing defence and security. To this end it manages systems for access control and technical and fire protection and enforces house rules.
It cooperates with the Police, which guard the premises of the Presidential Palace and of the Office of the Prime Minister.
