Food and Fisheries Directorate

The Food and Fisheries Directorate performs tasks in the fields of food quality, food processing industry support, the functioning of agri-food chains and quality schemes. We support the promotion of agricultural and food products and raise consumers’ awareness about food and foodstuffs. We also perform tasks in the field of marine and freshwater fisheries.
