Healthcare Service Providers Division

We grant authorisations to health centres, hospitals and other establishments providing public healthcare, as well as to private healthcare providers. We manage the register of private health professionals, issue concessions and supervise laboratory activities.

We ensure the efficient management of immovable and other tangible assets managed by public health institutions established by the Republic of Slovenia. We are also responsible for the verification and coordination of the verification procedures of health and laboratory operators. We participate in the drafting of laws and regulations in the field of health care, monitor requests for access to public information, and prepare responses to journalists' and parliamentarians' questions from our sector.

Our activities also include active participation in the preparation of wound, incontinence and stoma management strategies, dementia management strategies and diabetes management strategies. Through our expertise and commitment to quality, we contribute to the development and effective functioning of the health sector in the Republic of Slovenia.
