Dr Lidija Kegljevič Zagorc is a civil engineer and holds a Master's degree in economics and business. She holds a PhD in investment processes, spatial investments, their consideration and valuation.

Until her appointment as State Secretary at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning, Dr Lidija Kegljevič Zagorc was a member of the Management Board of DARS d.d., where she was responsible for managing the construction and renovation of the motorway network in the Republic of Slovenia. She is a lecturer in Infrastructure Project Management at the European Faculty of Law of the New University. From 2015 to 2022, she worked for DRI Investment Management Ltd. (DRI upravljanje investicij, d.o.o.) Ljubljana, where she last managed the projects of the third development axis.
